Role of the TIES Scientific Committee

The Scientific Committee (SC) advises the TIES Board on matters concerning the scientific program of the conference.  Members of the SC are asked to make suggestions concerning the scientific aspects of the conference.  Members of the SC may be called on to assist in the refereeing of abstracts and papers arising out of the conference, organizing sessions at conferences, assisting with awarding of prize winners for student talks and posters.

Members of the SC are expected to have a mentoring role for junior scientists at the conference. Membership of the SC is by invitation of the President of TIES, acting in liaison with the Local Organising Committee.

For general information about the TIES2005 conference, send an email to ties2005@csiro.au
