red: salt-affected from 1987 to 1993;
dark blue: became salt-affected in 1989 or 1990; light blue: became salt-
affected in 1991 or 1992; green: salt-affected with increasing vegetation cover
since 1989; yellow: inconsistently labelled as salt-affected; and light grey: not
salt-affected from 1987 to 1993.
Roads have been superimposed on the map
in black and cadastral boundaries have been superimposed in dark grey. The
area shown is a 21km by 21km region from the Xantippe catchment.
