Collaborators and clients
The Terrestrial Mapping and Monitoring stream within CSIRO Mathematics, Informatics and Statistics has collaborated with numerous
organisations, including:
- Australian Greenhouse Office (National Carbon Accounting System)
- Agriculture Western Australia (monitoring land condition)
- Satellite Remote Sensing Services and other groups in the Department of Land
Administration (technology transfer, collaborative land condition monitoring projects,
digital elevation generation)
- Conservation and Land Management (monitoring forest condition and jarrah dieback)
- Northern Territory Department of Lands, Planning and the Environment (monitoring
rangeland condition)
- Environment Australia (monitoring changes in forest areas)
- Bureau of Resource Sciences, DPIE (Australian Agricultural Landcover Change Project)
- The Land and Water Resources Research and Development Corporation and the National
Dryland Salinity Program - the collaborators included: NSW Agriculture (monitoring
salinity), Department of Primary Industries SA (monitoring salinity) and the Department of
Conservation and National Resources Victoria (monitoring salinity)
- Community and shire-based catchment and land management groups
