The Indian Ocean Climate Initiative (IOCI) has been set up by the Western Australian Government to provide a greater understanding of
the state's climate, which is strongly influenced by the Indian and Southern Oceans.
CSIRO's
Hydro-Climate Informatics Group is contributing statistical science
expertise to the research program.
