CSIRO is playing a key role in supporting the sustainability of the Northern Prawn Fishery, the Commonwealth's most valuable fishery and one of its most intensively studied.

CSIRO marine scientists and statisticians assess the direct impact of fishing practices on prawn stocks and gain significant insights into factors affecting the viability of the fishery.
