Track measurement vehicle

The number of measurements a railway track monitoring car can take over 100km of track.

CSIRO statisticians have developed RailTune, a technology that solves the problem of aligning data from successive track monitoring runs.

RailTune allows automated analysis of the data to reveal track condition and identify sections of rail track that require inspection or repair.
