Current Projects

SEQRWQMS South-Eastern Queensland Regional Water Quality Management Strategy (SEQRWQMS) forms a regional component of the National Water Quality Management Strategy, a national program in Australia to achieve ecologically sustainable use of water resources by protecting and enhancing their quality, while maintaining economic and social development. We are collaborators in two major projects that aim to develop generic water quality monitoring programs for Moreton Bay and biomonitoring programs for the streams and rivers in southeast Queensland.
Indian Ocean Climate Initiative The Indian Ocean Climate Initiative (IOCI) is an initiative of the Western Australian State Government. We are contributing our statistical research expertise to the initiative to improve climate predictability in southwest Australia.
Arsenic Poisoning Assessing the risk of Arsenic (As) poisoning to residents of the Bengal region of the Indian sub-continent through the consumption of As-contaminated food.
