Our Aims
- to develop CFD methods for both continuum and granular flows, and in
financial modelling, to solve problems of critical importance to
Australian industry
- to extend our finite element method software Fastflo by
developing toolboxes for specific industrial applications
- to support the international marketing effort of Fastflo in
conjunction with NAG and Compumod
- to develop 2D/3D smoothed particle hydrodynamics capabilities, with
specific application to die casting, while investigating other
industrial application areas
- to develop a world-leading capability in 2D/3D discrete element
method simulations for minerals and slurries
- to develop applications and products in options pricing
