Maturation forecasting products and services

CSIRO intends making its statistical models and software applications for grape maturation forecasting available to wineries in Australia and overseas, starting in mid-2009. Our products and services will be backed by years of practical experience in successfully developing and supporting maturation forecasting systems for specific wine industry partners.

Initially we will be offering operational-level grape sugar prediction methods as well as vintage viticultural scenario-analysis tools. Soon after, we anticipate adding yield estimation and logistics network analysis features.

Our aim is to deliver the premier tactical/strategic analysis tool for viticulture and wine logistics for medium-to-large wine producers.

More detailed information will be available shortly.
