Z-IMAGE and SZ-IMAGE

Z-IMAGE is the image analysis environment

developed by the people who do

real image processing

It features:

  • Over 200 functions:

  • Mathematical Morphology
  • Graph Morphology
  • Colour Image processing
  • Statistical Image processing
  • An easy to use command line interface.

  • It is easy to extend (in C or FORTRAN).

  • It is a Unix-based image analysis environment.

Available for the following platforms:

  • Sun Sun0S 5.x / Solaris 2.x
  • Digital Unix V4.x & Digital Unix V3.x  (DECa OSF1)
  • Linux 2.0/2.2 i386
  • SZ-IMAGE is an interface which allows all the Z-IMAGE functions to be called directly from the statistical package S-Plus. All the graphical and statistical tools of S-Plus are therefore readily available to analyse summary statistics produced by Z-IMAGE functions from image data.
