About Andreas Ernst

Dr Andreas Ernst completed a PhD at The University of Western Australia in the area of network optimisation, following his undergraduate degree in applied mathematics and computer science at the same institution. In 1995 he joined the Operations Research group where he has worked on a variety of projects including vehicle scheduling, rostering of train drivers and police officers, production scheduling for a wool processing company, simulation of a remand centre and operations scheduling of a coal terminal. His research interests include network optimisation, hub location and combinatorial optimisation.
